Allergy

Services Offered 

The Allergy clinic provides environmental and food skin testing, allergy evaluations, Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT’s), allergy and asthma follow-up for adults and children 6 years and older. Referrals are required from the Primary Care Provider.

Allergy shots are available Mon-Thu by appointment only and offered to patients ages 10 and above.

Immunizations are offered to non-enrollees on Fridays only from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.” 
 

Access to Care

Active duty, family members of active duty, DoD civilians (under certain circumstances), retirees and their family members that are TRICARE Prime enrolled at McDonald Army Health Center and/or TRICARE Standard.

HRAC Hours

Mon - Fri: 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Sat, Sun and Holidays: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Cancelling Appointments

To cancel an appointment, call the Hampton Roads Appointment Center (HRAC) at 1-866-645-4584 or message your care team through the  MHS GENESIS Patient Portal . McDonald Army Health Center request beneficiaries cancel 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Don't be a no-show!

McDonald Army Health Center wants your help in reducing the number of "No Shows". Patients who miss appointments or arrive late by 10 minutes or more to their scheduled appointments are considered "No Shows". "No Shows" limit the number of available appointments.  The Health Center request beneficiaries cancel at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.
