Services Offered

 To support health needs of deploying and redeploying Soldiers to include:

  • Unit SRP scheduling via MILPO
  • Individual augmentee SRP scheduling
  • Pre/Post Deployment Health Assessments (DD2795, DD2796, DD2900)
  • Scheduled Pre/Post Deployment Automated Neuropsychological Assessment Metric (ANAM)

Deployment Medical Readiness Clinic (DMRC) provides a centralized service for Soldiers who need a post-deployment health assessment (PDHA) three months after returning to their duty station. A post-deployment health re-assessment (PDHRA) is also provided six months after a Soldier returns to their duty station from deployment. Soldiers who have health issues identified through the PDHA or PDHRA assessments are assigned a health care team (providers and nurses) to facilitate care. Cancelling Appointments:

To cancel an appointment please call DMRC directly at 757-314-8026. McDonald Army Health Center requires that beneficiaries cancel 24 hours prior to your appointment. The Deployment Medical Readiness Center (DMRC) has dedicated MONDAYS ONLY to Soldiers requiring the Smallpox Vaccine* for Deployment. Smallpox required for Deployment/PCS to:

  • CENTCOM AOR
  • Korean Peninsula
  • US PACOM Forward
  • Deployment Naval Forces
  • Rapid Response Teams

Listed below are the steps to follow in order to receive the vaccine:

  1. All Soldiers needing the vaccine must first report to the DMRC, Bldg. 2792B Harrison Loop. Female Soldiers will be administered a pregnancy test.

  2. Remember, “No pregnancy test / No Smallpox vaccine

  3. All Soldiers requiring the vaccine will complete the required medical questionnaire and attend the Smallpox briefing at 0830.

  4. Immediately following the briefing, the provider will screen each applicant and determine their eligibility for receiving the vaccine.

  5. If the Soldier meets all requirements, vaccination will be administered following provider visit. The following Monday (7 days from initial vaccine), please return to the DMRC for your “take-check” appointment unless otherwise instructed. If you have questions regarding Smallpox please contact:
