Radiation Safety
Mission
To ensure and enforce radiation safety in accordance with the concept of as low as reasonably achievable through the delivery of comprehensive, professional, and technical support in matters of radiation safety to McDonald Army Health Center staff and beneficiaries. We ensure that radioactive material are used IAW the federal law. The Radiation Safety Program protects healthcare workers, patients and other stakeholders from unnecessary radiation exposure by monitoring and assessing radiation levels.
