Services Offered

Dermatology Clinic provides evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of dermatological diseases. The clinic provides both medical and surgical services, ultraviolet light therapy, and cutaneous laser therapy. Children not being seen by the Dermatologist or the Dermatology Nurses are not permitted in the clinic. Examinations are done only with the scheduled patient in the room. Due to safety, only the patient being seen should be present for the appointment.
 

Access to Care

Active duty availability. Active duty (have priority), family members of active duty, and retirees and their family members that are enrolled in TRICARE Prime with an electronic referral to Dermatology Clinic from their primary care physician.

To schedule an appointment, please login to MHS GENESIS Patient Portal  to message your healthcare team or call the Hampton Roads Appointment Center (HRAC) at 1-866-645-4584 to make an appointment.

Mon - Fri :6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Sat, Sun and Holidays: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Cancelling Appointments

To cancel an appointment, please go to MHS GENESIS Patient Portal  and access the Appointment Center. McDonald Army Health Center requires that beneficiaries cancel 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Don't be a no-show!

McDonald Army Health Center wants your help in reducing the number of "No Shows". Patients who miss appointments or arrive late by 10 minutes or more to their scheduled appointments are considered "No Shows". "No Shows" limit the number of available appointments.  The Health Center request beneficiaries cancel at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.
